Zupitr respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

• Optional Personal Information: Your name and email address which you voluntarily provide. You can still use the app without providing this information on Free subscription.
• Financial Information: Information about the value of your assets and liabilities which you enter by yourself. We DO NOT connect to any bank accounts to get that. In fact, we DO NOT have any interface to connect to any financial institution.
• Device Information: We may collect the detail of the user's device type, operating system name and version (e.g. Android or iOS) for diagnostic purposes in case of errors. This helps in finding the root cause of the error.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To communicate with you about your account and our services.
• To provide and improve our app's services.
• To process transactions and payments via Apple's in-app purchase system and third-party payment gateways.
• To analyze usage trends and improve our app's features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. In-App Purchases & Apple Data

Zupitr offers subscriptions processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. When you make a purchase, Apple collects and processes payment information in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your credit or debit card details. We only receive a confirmation of the transaction from Apple to activate your subscription.

5. Data Storage

For free subscription users, all the data is stored locally on the user's mobile phone.

For paid subscription users, the data is stored on Microsoft Azure Cloud. Azure acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use your data for their own purposes. You can review Microsoft's privacy practices at privacy.microsoft.com.

We DO NOT store any credit/debit card related data with us.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We DO NOT sell your personal information to any third party.

We use Microsoft Azure cloud services to store data for paid subscribers. Beyond this, we do not share your personal information with any other third parties.

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or to protect our rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Financial data for paid subscribers is retained for 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.

Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at contact@snabre.com or use the Delete Account option within the app settings.
• Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a portable format.

10. Children's Privacy

Zupitr is a personal finance tracking app intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@snabre.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or by email. The effective date at the top of this policy will always reflect the date of the latest revision.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
