Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 24-Jun-2026

1. Introduction

Zupitr is a financial wellness application designed to help you track expenses, income, investments, budgets, currencies, assets, liabilities, and net worth. We understand that financial information is highly sensitive. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices you have when using Zupitr and related website or application services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Zupitr, we may collect or process the following information:

Zupitr does not connect directly to your bank accounts, broker accounts, or other financial institutions. The financial information in the app is provided by you, uploaded by you, or created from app features you choose to use.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes:

4. AI Assistant and MCP Tools

Anvi is Zupitr's integrated AI assistant. When you chat with Anvi, your message may be classified by intent so the app can select the most relevant prompt and the most relevant Model Context Protocol tools for that request. Those tools may read the parts of your Zupitr data needed to answer your question, such as recent expenses, budget status, category totals, investment summaries, or net worth information.

Before sending an AI chat request, the app asks for your permission. If you agree, your chat message and conversation context are sent to Zupitr's secure server and may be processed by Azure OpenAI, a Microsoft AI service, to generate the response. We aim to limit the context sent for AI processing to what is reasonably required for the specific request. You should avoid sending sensitive information in chat messages unless it is needed for the task you want Anvi to perform.

Microsoft provides Azure OpenAI as a service provider for Zupitr's AI features and is required to protect the information it processes for us under its applicable service and privacy commitments. You can review Microsoft's privacy practices at privacy.microsoft.com.

5. Receipt, Income, and Document Scanning

If you upload a receipt, bank statement, invoice, payslip, image, or document, Zupitr may process that file to identify draft expense or income details such as merchant or payer, amount, date, tax, notes, category, and payment details. This feature is intended to reduce manual entry. Uploaded files and extracted data may be stored with your account where required to provide the feature, support edits, and maintain your financial records.

Before sending a document for AI parsing, the app asks for your permission. If you agree, the document or image and extracted text are sent to Zupitr's secure server and may be processed by Azure OpenAI, a Microsoft AI service, to extract draft financial details.

6. Multi-Currency and Exchange Rates

Zupitr supports multiple currencies and may periodically fetch exchange rates from internet-based data sources. Exchange rate providers may receive technical request information, such as the currencies requested and standard network information, but they do not need your individual expenses, incomes, investments, net worth, email address, or other personal financial records to provide exchange rate data.

7. In-App Purchases and Payment Data

Zupitr may offer subscriptions or paid features processed through Apple's in-app purchase system, Google Play, or other third-party payment providers. When you make a purchase, the relevant provider collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive the information needed to confirm, activate, manage, or troubleshoot your subscription. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

8. Data Storage

For users on plans or features that operate locally, some information may be stored on the user's device. For cloud-enabled features and paid subscription services, data may be stored on Microsoft Azure or other trusted infrastructure providers used to operate Zupitr.

Microsoft Azure acts as a service provider for hosting and storage on our behalf and does not use your data for its own independent purposes. You can review Microsoft's privacy practices at privacy.microsoft.com.

We do not store full credit card, debit card, or bank account details in Zupitr.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users and regulators where required by applicable law.

10. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your individual financial records with advertisers or unrelated third parties. This means we do not share personal information such as your email address, individual expenses, income entries, investment records, asset values, liabilities, net worth, receipt details, or chat history for another company's independent marketing purposes.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Zupitr, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, AI processing, document processing, email delivery, and security providers. For AI features, this may include sharing AI chat messages, conversation context, uploaded receipts, bank statements, invoices, payslips, document text, and extracted financial details with Azure OpenAI, a Microsoft AI service, after you give permission in the app. These providers are only permitted to use the information as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise allowed by law, and we require them to provide appropriate protection for the information they process for Zupitr.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, regulator request, legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect Zupitr, our users, our rights, or the security of the service.

11. Aggregated and De-Identified Insights

Zupitr may use aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information to understand financial trends, improve the product, prepare reports, or share general insights. These insights are about groups of users, not about a specific person.

For example, we may calculate or publish insights such as the percentage of users who spent more than a certain amount on groceries in a month, average monthly savings across users, common budget categories, average changes in net worth, or broader spending and saving trends. We design these insights so they do not identify you and do not reveal your individual expenses, income, investments, net worth, email address, receipts, or other personal records.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide Zupitr, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business purposes such as security, backups, audit records, and product improvement.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, necessary for security, required for dispute resolution, or retained in backup systems until those backups expire through normal processes.

13. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@snabre.com.

14. Children's Privacy

Zupitr is a personal finance tracking app intended for users aged 10 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 10. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@snabre.com and we will delete it promptly.

15. International Processing

Zupitr may process and store information in Australia, the United States, or other countries where our service providers operate. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or by email. The effective date at the top of this policy will always reflect the date of the latest revision.

17. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
